For each VDS, 1 dedicated external IP address is provided free of charge. You can order up to 10 IPs at a price of ≈ $2.29 200 ₽ /month (minimum order period is 20 days).
IPv6 networks /64 are available at a price of ≈ $0.11 10 ₽ /month (no more than 1000 networks).
Expansion of disk space: ≈ $2.29 200 ₽ /month for every 10 GB, except for '+' plans. Disk space reduction is not possible.
Increase of CPUs: ≈ $1.14 100 ₽ /month for 1 CPU.

“Fair Use Policy” is applied. Network bandwidth on the server is 200-500 Mbps. When the traffic reaches 20,000 GB, the speed is limited to 10 Mbps until the end of the billing month. The speed can be restored for ≈ $1.71 150 ₽ (1000 GB).

To activate the test period, you need to make a ≈ $1.14 100 ₽ deposit to your account . This money will remain on the balance and can be used later to pay for any order or refunded, provided that the trial period was used without violations of the offer (spam, phishing, attacks, etc.).

For legal entities, the trial period is provided upon a scan of an application form with the seal and signature of a company’s executive.

All plans offer free protection against the most common types of network flood (DDoS attacks): UDP amplification, ICMP flood and SYN flood. L7 protection is carried out by our specialists as far as possible. Upon customer’s request, DDoS protection might be disabled by changing the server IP address. In this case, inbound traffic is not charged.

What is KVM virtualization

To create virtual machines (VMs) inside a physical server, the hardware is modified using special technologies. This process is called virtualization. Kernel-based Virtual Machine or KVM is one such technology. It belongs to the class of hardware virtualization, which involves the deployment of a virtual environment using a hypervisor running on bare metal. This means that VDS with KVM operates on its own hardware, emulating the operation of a full-fledged server.

In terms of available features, such VPS (Virtual Private Server) are almost indistinguishable from Dedicated Servers — dedicated physical host machines. They have their own operating system kernels, and administrators have access to manage them at the superuser level — and they can do this remotely through a convenient panel. KVM in Russia is used by many hosting providers as it is a reliable way to allocate a fixed number of resources to each virtual server. KVM-based VPS are strictly limited in their computing power and therefore cannot use someone else's, they are completely isolated from each other, which eliminates the possibility of overselling by the host.

Features of VPS with KVM

The main advantage of VPS KVM is the complete freedom to modify the OS kernel. The technology is based on Linux, but not limited to its distributions. The VM renter is free to install Windows Server as a guest system, and even their own images. In addition, non-standard modules such as OpenVPN, IPsec, PPTP, etc. are available for installation. You can format disks for any file systems, manage VDS when it is unavailable or at the early stages of booting. It is also worth mentioning that only its administrator sees the contents of the server.

However, the features of hardware virtualization impose certain restrictions on VPS hosting. For example, changing the number of resources without restarting the server is impossible (the virtual server, not the host). And although the containers themselves are faster than with a software hypervisor, this peculiarity insignificantly slows down and complicates the administration process. To operate such a machine will require special skills and solid technical knowledge.
