Colocation — hosting and maintaining your server and server equipment in one of our Tier 3 certified data centers. Colocation server is sometimes referred to as physical hosting, in which, unlike Dedicated server rental, the network equipment is completely owned by the client. The user selects the server configuration necessary for the project on their own, and the hosting provider takes care of its smooth functioning. The uptime of IHC data centers for colocation is almost 100%.
Colocation is an excellent solution for those who want to create an independent IT infrastructure for their business that fully meets the needs of the project, and for some reason is not able to provide the necessary conditions for round-the-clock server operation. With a colocation server, you can use absolutely all the resources of your physical machine and manage your computer settings yourself. Placing a server in a DC allows you to limit the circle of people who have access to the client's equipment, which means that during colocation your computer and the data stored on it will be reliably protected from unauthorized interference and actions of intruders.
